The Experiment
Not a whole lot going for this experiment in the ways of host segments. However, Kinga's invention for this one with the puppets was pretty funny overall. Beyond that, the final host segment with the animal keeper lady had to be a fitting and wonderful punchline to the whole episode.

Lords of the Deep
Some scientists under the sea come in contact with an unknown species... yeah the same as 1000 other movies.
What makes this movie bad?
Everything. Everything is wrong with this movie. It is a Roger Corman production, for one thing. It has no real actors with any semblance of talent and it is so boring that it is a black hole of nothingness. It makes literally no sense.
Pretty much, the movie thought that it could go off of mystique. Some movies can do that, but obviously no one in the crew knew what they were doing. So then they decide to try and make it to where it's the head of the facility killing people on the crew and blaming the aliens. Why does that make sense? Oh, it doesn't. They try to come up with an excuse but it falls flat as nothing has led up to it. Then it tries to pull the "we're so deep" card by having the main lady protagonist hallucinate beautiful scenery. Well, that's just peachy. The end result is horrific, and not in a good way.
The Riffs
The riffs, unfortunately, are not good enough to save this episode. There are laughs to be had, of course, they do their job to an extent and they crack off some good zingers. However, the overall result is that of a very dull and very nondescript episode.
The Episode
Pretty certain you see where this is going. This is a very forgettable episode. It's one that has the rotten luck of having a boring movie that's not nearly silly enough to work off of. It's worth the watch, but it is also a slow mover and it leaves something of a bad taste in your mouth. It is definitely the worst of the season.
